The country is under lockdown till May 31 due to Coronavirus. People are imprisoned in their homes.  Because of not being able to go out, people are searching for new new means of entertainment at home. 

 At the beginning of the lockdown, people had demanded to telecast Ramayan serial and Ramayan returned to Doordarshan on this demand.  Ramayana broke all records and got tremendous viewership.  Now Hunaman Chalisa of T series has also set a new record.

He wrote that today is a very happy moment for the entire TCeries family because today Hanuman Chalisa of T series has achieved one billion views

Ramayana also set the record for the most views during the lockdown.  When the lockdown began, it was announced to air on Doordarshan.  At the same time, Mahabharata was also telecast again.  Both these shows were very successful.  The Ramayana is now being broadcast on Star Plus, while the Mahabharata is being aired on Colors TV.

Let us tell you that Hanuman Chalisa was uploaded to YouTube in 2011 and it was sung by Bhajan singer Hariharan.  Due to the lockdown, people got a little more attention on devotion and due to this, Hanuman Chalisa set the record of seeing more than 1 billion 13 lakh 70 thousand views.
